FAQ
Which season is best for a photo session?
The best season for a photo session with horses largely depends on the kind of atmosphere and aesthetic you're aiming for:
Spring: The landscape is lush and full of life, with soft pastels in the flowers and fresh grass. Spring symbolizes new beginnings, making it ideal for capturing the energy and vitality of horses. The sun is gentle, creating a dreamy, ethereal glow in the photos.
Summer: Summer offers long days and golden light during early mornings or late evenings. The warmth in the atmosphere can complement the tones of the horses and the natural landscape. The landscape is full of rich colors, from blue skies to colorful wildflower meadows.
Fall: Fall is a favorite for many of us. The foliage provides a stunning backdrop of deep yellows with golden earthy tones. The cooler temperatures also make for comfortable photo shoots. The light becomes soft and warm, and the crisp air adds a fresh feel to the images.
Winter: If you’re aiming for a serene, peaceful, or dramatic look, winter can offer stunning opportunities. Snow-covered fields and trees create a stark, beautiful contrast with horses. Winter is perfect for capturing a quiet, almost magical feel, with low light and the possibility of soft snowfalls creating a peaceful atmosphere. Muted tones - say no more!
How many images will I receive?
The quantity of your final delivered images depends on the scope of your project. For a regular family, senior or portrait session the agreed amount is 60 images, but don't worry there is almost always more! I won't keep any gems from you and then make you pay for them later. You'll receive the best of what we shoot, always. Images will be delivered in an online gallery with the ability to download and order prints.
